Here's a few steps on how to connect to the Servd Assets Platform using FileZilla Pro. Note that the free version of FileZilla doesn't provide a S3 connection option so can't be used to connect to your project's asset bucket.

  1. Navigate to your project's Assets page in the Servd dashboard.

  2. Click the "Generate New Access Key" button. We'll be using these details in a moment so keep this page open.

  3. Open up FileZilla Pro and ensure that your installed version is up to date.

  4. Asset Platform V3 Only

Navigate to Settings > Transfers > S3: Providers.

Create a new S3 Provider called "Servd". For the provider, add a new region:

    • Name: Region (From the Servd Dashboard)

    • Description: Region (From the Servd Dashboard)

    • Endpoints: S3 Endpoint (From the Servd Dashboard)

Click "OK" to save the "Servd" S3 Provider.

  5. Navigate to the "Site Manager" dialog, and create a new site with a name matching your Servd project.

  6. Asset Platform V3

    Under the "General" tab:

    • Protocol: S3 - Amazon Simple Storage Service

    • Host: S3 Endpoint (From the Servd Dashboard)

    • Access Key ID: Access Key ID (From the Servd Dashboard)

    • Secret Access Key: Access Key Secret (From the Servd Dashboard)

    Under the "Advanced" tab:

    • Default Remote Directory: Bucket (From the Servd Dashboard, make sure to add a / at the start)

    Asset Platform V2 (Legacy)

    Under the "General" tab:

    • Protocol: Backblaze B2

    • Application Key ID: Access Key ID (From the Servd Dashboard)

    • Application Key: Access Key Secret (From the Servd Dashboard)

    Under the "Advanced" tab:

    • Default Remote Directory: Bucket (From the Servd Dashboard, make sure to add a / at the start)

  7. Click "Connect".

  8. You're all done, you should see a list of folders for each of your project's environments. You can place your files inside these.
